“Ganun talaga e… if the feeling’s there, ‘yun na. Minsan kailangan mo lang intayin…” -Lee Nadela, 2010

I haven’t known how great human beings the member of Slapshock was until I read PULP Magazine ISSUE NO. 103 FEBRUARY_2010 today. I’ve only known them for their songs and like someone who supports the local underground and indie rock scene, I like singing their songs, too. Sometimes if available, I would sing their songs in karaoke—e.g. Adios—just for reminiscence. I now quite know how they started, soared, delivered, and succeeded in their music but stayed humble still.
The words got stuck to me which bassist Lee said. I love how this is related to my love story, and to the Kuya friend I so much miss. I miss you, Kuya Jabi…
